Research
My primary research interest is drought: growing up in drought-stricken, wildfire-ridden California, it’s always been a topic on the news and particularly in my coursework. When I moved to Germany, a water-rich country, I thought I wouldn’t need to think about it anymore. Of course, this was absolutely not the case, particularly as our climate changes rapidly in response to human activity. With my research, I hope to help society adequately prepare for the consequences of drought.
